Landlords responsibility for gas safety

By law you must:

• Repair and maintain any gas pipework, flues or appliances, ensuring they are in a safe condition
• Ensure that an annual gas safety check has been carried out on each appliance and flue
• You must also keep a record of each safety check to be compliant and gain a Landlords Gas Safety Certificate

You should also keep your tenants informed about their responsibilities while they are staying in your property.
